Like most modern memories, the first photo I ever took of my girlfriend on our first date in London was destined to live purely on a camera roll—lost among thousands of other digital files. But that moment felt too important to remain intangible. I wanted to give it weight, texture, and permanence.

I didn’t just want to print it; I wanted to anchor it in time. That desire to translate a fleeting, digital moment into a permanent, physical artifact became the foundation of Ichi E.
